Fret Not
Fret Not was a very emotional painting for me. I was right in the middle of
the painting and received a call from my husband that a daughter of a very close
friend had passed away. Her name was Jennifer, and she was 21 years old. Jennifer
fought a long battle with cystic fibrosis. She had been hospitalized for a lung
transplant, where her father and soon to be brother-in-law were donors. She died
from a massive stroke. This painting is for Jennifer. It is about the end and
new beginning of eternal life awaiting her, so “Fret Not” my little
darling, I will see you in heaven.
